This Pasta Al Lemone comes in 5 ingredients in just minutes. I had never tried this pasta with lemon until I got curious about the taste and I couldn't imagine the combination of parmesan cheese and lemon for pasta would taste good! And if you are never eaten this kind of, you have the right place to start. It's pretty AWESOME!

- 1 fresh Lemon
- 12 oz Spaghetti or long pasta
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4cupof heavy cream
- 3 oz parmesan cheese (finely grated)
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- In fresh lemon use a vegetable peeler, remove 2 inch long strips of lemon zest. Slice each strip in thinly lengthwise; set aside for garnish.
- Grate the remaining zest into a large pot.
- Cut the lemon half and squeeze out the juice and set aside.
- Boil a heavily salted water to cook pasta and stirring occasionally until pasta half cook the pasta will continue to cook in the sauce.
- In another pot bring in medium heat, add the heavy cream with lemon zest, whisking often. Simmer about 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. And add one butter at a time until melted. If the sauce is creamy Remove from the heat.
- Scoop out 1 & 1/2 cups of water from boiling pasta. and return to the medium heat
- Transfer spaghetti directly in a sauce pot no need to drain its okay if little water comes along with it.
- Add parmesan cheese little by little until melted.
- Add lemon zest and juice, and a pinch of salt.
- Divide pasta among bowls. Add fresh pepper and lemon zest trips for garnish.
TIP: Use Tong to transfer pasta while rotating clockwise the bowl. To easy good rounded looking pasta.
