This Italian-American dish makes your spaghetti meaty! The meatballs for this pasta is the mixture of ground beef, sausage, and other condiments to make it flavourful. Kids will love this for sure!

For Pasta
- Prepare a large pot of water to boil and add a pinch of salt to make your pasta tasty. You can follow into the packaging instruction, add pasta, stirring occasionally, check the pasta until softer. Drain and add the pasta directly to the simmering marinara sauce.
Ingredients for Meatballs
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound sweet sausage
- 3 slice white bread or 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese or more to serve, but I used ordinary cheese.
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
Instruction for Meatballs
- In a large mixing bowl put the 1 pound lean ground beef and sweet or Italian sausage casing removed. add 1 cup breadcrumbs for 3 slices of bread, combine bread pieces with 2/3 cup of water set aside for 5 mins and mash with a fork before to add in mixing bowl. Then add 1 large egg beaten, 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped, 4 cloves garlic minced, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil.
- Mix well and form into 1 1/2 meatballs or to your preferred size. To make it easy to shape you can use an Ice Cream Scoop and dredge or roll the meatballs in flour the Store, covered, in the refrigerator until needed.
- Prepare a pan over medium heat. Add 3 Tbsp olive oil, add meatballs without crowding and wait until browned.
Ingredients for Marinara Sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 large Onion, chopped
- 10 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 can Tomato Sauce
- 12oz tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil, chopped
- 1 tsp dried parsley, chopped
Instruction for Sauce
- In a large saucepan over medium heat add olive oil, add onions and garlic with the season salt, and pepper cook until soft.
- Then add the tomato paste and tomato sauce, reduce the heat to low then add basil, and parsley continues to stir, add the meatballs, cover and simmer for 30minutes and lastly add the pasta. And it's ready to share! ENJOY! :D
