This frozen yogurt recipe only takes 10 minutes of preparation, no ice cream machine is needed you can only leave it overnight in the freezer. It comes with three main recipes: Yogurt, Cream, and Fruits of choice. It is so easy to make your own frozen yogurt at home.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Freezing Time: 6 hrs. to 12 hrs.
Total Time: 10 minutes
Main Ingredients
300g Greek Plain Yogurt
750ml Cream or All Purpose Cream
100g Mix Fruits
300g Greek Plain Yogurt
750ml Cream or All Purpose Cream
100g Mix Fruits
Optional Ingredients:
190g Condensed Milk or ¼ Cup Sugar
Melted Chocolate and strawberry Syrup
2 teaspoons orange extract, or vanilla extract
Graham crushed
Instructions
- Prepare your fruits of choice. Mine, I use strawberries, Mango, and Kiwi. I also added some crunchy nuts and cookies. Slice it with a small bite.
- In one empty container, combine the 300g Greek Plain Yogurt, 750ml Cream or All Purpose Cream, 2 teaspoons orange extract, or vanilla extract. Then, add the 190g condensed milk or ¼ cup sugar to the mixture to achieve some sweetness in your froyo I recommend this part so that your froyo will not tangy flavor.
- Mix it well using the whisk or mixer machine. I suggest using a mixer machine aside from making your life easy it also provides a perfect creamy smoothie-like and double size the mixture.
- To prevent ice crystals in your froyo you can use a tissue or cheesecloth and strain the Greek Plain Yogurt to remove some excess water before adding it to the mixture.
- You can also add your fruits of choice directly to the mixture if you want. But for me, I use it as a topping so the fruits keep the freshest taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a freezer. Make sure to level the container perfectly to avoid spillage, and freeze it for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, allow the froyo to sit at room temperature for a few minutes until soft enough to scoop. Enjoy!
